Is this an all ages event?
Attendees should be at least 21 years of age with a valid photo ID to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages.
The Chesapeake Wine Festival begins at 12pm and ends at 6pm.
Are there free places to park?
Yes! Free parking at Chesapeake Park will be available to all attendees.
Are there restrooms?
Portable restrooms, including accessible units for physically impaired will be conveniently located within the park during the event.

Are there accessible parking spaces?
Parking for disabled individuals is available and reserved for vehicles displaying state-issued (any state) disability placards or license plates. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Accessible restrooms will be available. Service animals trained to assist disabled persons will be allowed into the event.
What if it rains?
This is a rain-or-shine event. Plan to have a fantastic day, no matter what the weather!

Sorry, no animals, except hearing /dog animals and service/dog animals trained to assist disabled persons will be allowed into the event. No pets.
Can I bring?
Blankets – Yes, blankets or tarps for the ground are allowed in designated areas
Cooler – Yes, coolers or picnic baskets are fine. They will be searched at the gate.
Lawn Chair – Yes, lawn chairs allowed in designated areas & great for watching live music!
Chesapeake Virginia Wine Festival reserves the right to limit space for individual picnic areas in order to accommodate all patrons and to provide safe access through the festival grounds.
What items are NOT permitted at the festival?
The following items CANNOT be brought into the event area:
- No tents or pop-ups. These obstruct the view of other festival guests.
- No personal tables.
- No grills.
- No weapons of any kind
- No illegal substances
- No alcohol (inspections take place at every gate)
- No skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles (exceptions for people with mobility limitations)
- No bicycles
- No fireworks or explosives
- No pets
- No illegal vending is permitted—no unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed
